Currently, graduate degree programs in Missouri are preparing more than 60,900 talented students for leadership in their fields. Background: In 2006, 11 graduate deans jointly requested a governor's proclamation to establish the first Graduate Education Week in Missouri. By 2013, 24 public and private institutions joined forces in the unique public information campaign.
The goal then, as it is now, is to enhance public awareness about the impact and outcomes of graduate education.
