2010 Graduate Education Week

Public Education: Graduate students teach school children about the benefits of good nutrition and exercise.

Graduate schools across Missouri will celebrate Graduate Education Week during April 19-24, 2010.

Currently, graduate degree programs in Missouri are preparing more than 56,000 talented students for leadership in their fields. We salute graduate students, faculty and graduate alumni for their numerous contributions to our state and the nation.

Background: In 2006, eleven graduate deans jointly requested a governor's proclamation to establish the first Graduate Education Week in Missouri.

Our goal then, as it is now, is to enhance public awareness about the impact and outcomes of graduate education.
