Graduate schools across Missouri will celebrate Graduate Education Week during April 13-20, 2013.

Currently, graduate degree programs in Missouri are preparing more than 60,900 talented students for leadership in their fields. We salute graduate students, faculty and graduate alumni for their numerous contributions to our state and the nation.

In 2006, 11 graduate deans jointly requested a governor’s proclamation to establish the first Graduate Education Week in Missouri. This year, 20 public and private institutions have joined forces in this unique public information campaign.

Our goal then, as it is now, was to enhance public awareness about the impact and outcomes of graduate education.
